Nielsen Takes Minority Stake in Brand-Safety Firm OpenSlate

Nielsen Holdings PLC has acquired a minority stake in brand-safety measurement company OpenSlate in an effort to help marketers avoid advertising within environments that don’t fit their desired image. OpenSlate will use the investment to make new hires, with a goal of doubling its head count by the end of 2020, as well as expanding more internationally, said Mike Henry, Chief Executive Officer at OpenSlate.
