At OpenSlate, we believe a healthy digital media ecosystem promotes and rewards quality content from a diverse community of creators.
Investing in and supporting Black creators’ content is top of mind for many of our clients. The recent commitments from our platform partners is proof that we’re all striving to ensure the online advertising ecosystem is inclusive and equitable.
Recently, YouTube launched the #YouTubeBlack Voices Fund, a global, multi-year commitment to center and grow Black creators and artists on the platform. TikTok is celebrating Black History Month with Black trailblazers and #MakeBlackHistory. Facebook has announced multiple initiatives and monetary commitments to elevate Black voices and businesses, including the launch of “Written By,” a docuseries celebrating the powerful movements happening across their apps.
Alongside our platform partners, and in celebration of Black History Month, OpenSlate is excited to honor the ever-growing talent, passion, and commitment to quality content coming from the Black creator community at large. Check out our short list of Black creators highlighted below.
