Content Marketing Manager



As a Content Marketing Manager at OpenSlate, you’ll be responsible for creating, editing and distributing content across a variety of channels to create impactful content that drives OpenSlate’s brand perception as an industry leader.  This position reports to the Director of Communications & Marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the company’s content marketing strategy, with a focus on creating thought leadership to drive awareness and engagement.
  • Define KPIs, benchmarks and targets for all initiatives and campaigns.
  • Manage and further develop the OpenSlate blog to support and promote marketing initiatives and provide leads for business development.
  • Develop and create content (case studies, emails, ebooks, videos) to drive clear results across a variety of channels.
  • Collaborate with the Product and Customer Success teams as well as external influencers to produce relevant content that meets business objectives and provides value to our audience.
  • Oversee Social Media efforts – growing each channel to amplify our content.
  • Drive optimization, explore and test different strategies and deliver incremental improvements to meet communication objectives.

About you:

  • 4-6 years of experience developing and executing content-focused marketing strategies for a fast-growing B2B tech company. Startup or small company experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to develop marketing strategies using both quantitative and qualitative insights.
  • Exceptional writing, curating and editing skills, with a keen eye for storytelling.
  • Demonstrated excellence in developing different types of content, including short-form copy and long-form white papers.
  • Ability to transform technical content into approachable, compelling content for different audiences.
  • Strong project management skills combined with the ability to think analytically and work cross-functionally. 
  • Proven ability to think ahead, be proactive and take initiative.
