Digital Analyst



The Digital Analyst is responsible for expert analysis of our YouTube Preferred and TrueView data offerings, and the ongoing analytical support of all live & prospective clients. Working with Sales, Client Success, and Marketing, the Digital Analyst will help deliver best-in-class reporting to OpenSlate’s clients.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analytical expertise: Experience solving problems using statistical and quantitative tools and condensing into valuable insights
  • Sales analytics: Drive sales excellence through the consistent delivery of research & analytics to the sales team. This includes the collection, management, analysis and presentation of data for audits, creation of new market research, and assistance with forecasting
  • Storytelling: Ability to triangulate insights across data sets in order tell a holistic story
  • Thought leadership: Translating our data into impactful insights that may be distributed publicly

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2-5 years of experience in digital advertising or a related field (agency experience a plus)
  • Strong oral/written communication skills, high attention to detail, avid multi-tasker
  • Extensive knowledge of Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.) as well as Word and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with A/B testing and analyzing results
  • Being a goal-oriented self-starter
  • Highly organized with a keen attention to detail
  • Possession of an enthusiastic and curious mind
  • A team player who enjoys collaborating with others
  • Highly analytical

Ideal candidates will also have:

  • Knowledge of Google AdWords
  • Excellent communication skills, especially in presenting analytical findings to non-technical audiences
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Microsoft BI is a plus
  • Capable of handling the pressure of accelerated deadlines and multiple ad hoc requests
  • Proven history of self-direction, creativity, and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong understanding of paid video and social platforms
