Managing Director, APAC

The Managing Director, APAC is responsible for leading the aggressive growth of OpenSlate in APAC, with a major focus on the Australian market.  In this position, you’ll be responsible for identifying market opportunities to grow our revenue with agencies, brands, publishers and platforms in the region.  You’ll partner with the current international business development team to position OpenSlate and lead the charge for growth in APAC. 

Key Responsibilities:

  •  Develop and own the go-to-market strategy for driving business with brands and agencies.
  •  Identify and execute on enterprise-level opportunities to utilize OpenSlate’s proprietary data and technology.
  •  Build a sound business plan with defined targets and goals.
  •  Leverage existing agency, client and partners for organic growth in new markets.
  •   Deliver accurate forecasting, sales planning and strategy to C-level executives.
  •   Work cross-functionally to provide insight into operationalizing and supporting the business in new markets long term.
  •  Represent OpenSlate at industry events and conferences to increase awareness of our global capabilities and to generate leads.
  •  Identify and develop plans to support additional hires as business grows.

About you:

  •  An established and well connected global digital media professional with 10+ years of sales and business development experience globally.
  •  A built-in network of existing relationships with global agencies, clients and publishers.
  •  A thorough understanding of social video and the role that data plays in the digital media ecosystem.
  •  A strategic seller who can build and deliver a plan to drive revenue and create the need for OpenSlate’s solutions in-market.
  •  A closer who consistently beats revenue targets.
  •  Excellent presentation and communication skills.
