Marketing Operations Manager

As a Marketing Operations Manager, you will help ensure the efficacy of OpenSlate’s marketing initiatives via process improvements, project management and marketing automation setup/deployment. This position reports to the Director, Marketing Communications.

You will be a key part of scaling our marketing – and be able to see the impact the work we do. The marketing team is highly visible and collaborates across all functions.


  • Act as project lead for marketing automation buildout – working across the marketing team, sales and client success organization to ensure optimal setup, successful roll-out and ongoing maintenance.
  • Work with marketing team to set KPIs, track and analyze the success of marketing efforts. Routinely report out on impact of marketing initiatives such as paid search, email marketing,  conference sponsorships, media spend and more.
  • Train sales and client success teams on marketing systems and processes. 
  • Track marketing budget and expenses, including conference sponsorships, media campaigns, and more. Assist in goal-setting and organization of top priorities.
  • Work with team on large scale marketing initiatives, including all-hands, client summits, events and more.


  • 3-5 years experience leveraging marketing automation platforms to for a fast-growing B@B tech company. Startup experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with SugarCRM, Salesforce, Google Analytics and Mail Chimp or similar platforms
  • Strong project management experience with a love for process improvement.
  • Team-oriented, with the ability to build relationships and rapport within and across teams
  • Strong project management skills combined with the ability to think analytically and work cross-functionally. 
  • Proven ability to think ahead, be proactive and take initiative.
