People Operations Manager



OpenSlate is looking for a People Operations Manager to work in our growing New York office.  In this position, you’ll wear many hats and play a central role in helping to run the logistics of our New York office.  Below are the primary responsibilities of the role today. Given we’re a fast pace and growing organization, our job descriptions are always evolving to keep up with change and ensure everyone is challenged and fulfilled.  This position will report to the Head of Humans and work closely with the Executive team.

 

Responsibilities

Office Space & Operations

  • Primary contact for all building and facilities management
  • Project Manager for office space projects
  • Oversee the management of the kitchen (aka the heart and soul of OpenSlate) and the ordering and stocking of the pantry
  • Manage the office budget
  • May get involved with selecting and implementing new technology platforms to support the day to day operations of OpenSlate

Executive Support

  • Support the Executive team, primarily the CEO, in managing the calendar and various administrative requests

Culture and Events

  • Work with OpenSlate’s Culture Club to help coordinate company activities including monthly fitness classes, outings, and book club
  • Coordinate logistics for the monthly All Hands company meeting which includes teleconference technology
  • Partner with marketing to coordinate company and client events
  • Manage the Culture Club budget

Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience working with senior executives
  • Comfortable with technology and able to troubleshoot everyday problems
  • Fluent in Microsoft office products with some strength in Excel
