VP, Marketing



The VP, Marketing is responsible for market-facing positioning, strategy and delivery.  In this role, you’ll report to the Chief Marketing Officer. The VP, Marketing partners with the CMO and team to help develop and deploy marketing strategies to ensure that OpenSlate resonates with prospects, customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand the needs of our clients/users and the goals of our organization to effectively formulate positioning, messaging, and go to market plans for OpenSlate
  • Author positioning for general sales presentations and key client engagements
  • Create and manage the marketing activities that drive sales efforts including events and client advisory board
  • Develop content marketing plan – including editorial calendar, resourcing, distribution and analytics
  • Monitor marketplace, trends and competition and adjust marketing plans accordingly
  • Create workflow and strategy for ongoing distribution/updates to sales material and collateral
  • Collaborate with sales and client success teams to ensure consistent messaging to clients and partners
  • Work as a partner and thought leader with sales, client success and product teams to impact future solutions and offerings

About you:

  • 10+ years of marketing experience in media, ad-tech, or advertising.
  • Experience in activating marketing with sales and partner organizations.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of productivity while managing multiple competing priorities.
  • Amazing communication skills. You have a knack for making the complex simple. We’re a data company. Some of what we do is complicated and deeply nuanced – you know how to translate this effectively to different audiences.
