Under Mike’s leadership, and with the support of an incredible team, OpenSlate developed the industry-standard video content ratings system. The company has also (proudly) built technology that fosters a healthy online video ecosystem and promotes high-quality content. Prior to founding OpenSlate in 2010, Mike had a mostly digital career dating back to when banner ads were cool. He was amongst the earliest execs charged with building The Wall Street Journal’s digital business and later become head of integrated marketing solutions for Dow Jones. In the late aughts, Mike helped pioneer social video advertising at a consumer-facing video portal called Veoh. Philly born and bred (and Eagles green blood in his veins), Mike is a long-time Manhattan transplant where he lives with his wife and two kids.

Matt Kopit is a technology leader with over two decades of experience building platforms that provide premium quality content to mass audiences. As CTO, he is responsible for all technology operations at OpenSlate, including infrastructure, software engineering and data science. Matt previously served as VP of Technology at Viacom, where he built the editorial, content and data platforms that power MTV News, as well as supporting their digital business across television shows, music, movies and live events.

Andrea Ching is a visionary digital media executive with 20+ years of experience in media strategy, integrated marketing and building brands. As CMO, she uses her experience in aligning great brands with premium content to further OpenSlate’s market positioning as the leader in video content ratings. Prior to joining OpenSlate, Andrea was SVP of Integrated Marketing at Turner Broadcasting, responsible for brand integrations and sales development for CNN and other Turner digital properties. Before Turner, Andrea held key positions at Ogilvy and GroupM, driving digital and integrated media strategy for numerous global, blue-chip brands.

Brian Quinn has nearly 30 years experience in digital sales and management. At OpenSlate, Brian leads the company’s domestic and international sales teams, business development, and strategic partnerships. Prior to joining the company, Quinn was Chief Revenue & Innovation Officer at Triad Retail Media, which manages online media programs for leading e-commerce retailers. His additional responsibilities included overseeing Triad’s Marketing, Product Innovation, and Media Labs divisions.

Amy Robertson brings over 15 years of experience managing and developing talent in the agency world. As OpenSlate’s Head of Humans her mission is to foster an environment where our people can grow and reach their goals as well as attract other talented humans to join the team.  She was most recently the SVP, Director of Human Resources at BBDO New York. During her 12 year tenure at BBDO, Amy oversaw talent development and recruiting across the Account Management and Planning departments. She also partnered closely with the agency’s management team to build out new disciplines, such as Communications Planning, as well as the launch of the Los Angeles office. Amy prides herself on building strong cross-discipline teams, and implementing agency policies and programs to shape the best possible thinking and output. Prior to BBDO, she worked in Account Management at Ogilvy & Mather, managing campaign development and client relationships for Kraft, Hershey and AIG.  

Dmitri Zolotkovsky has 20 years of experience in leading finance and accounting positions with public and private companies. As CFO for OpenSlate, Dmitri is responsible for building financial efficiencies to support continued growth, securing of necessary funding, maintaining financial discipline, and managing budgeting and accounting processes. Previously, Dmitri worked with venture-backed SaaS technology companies predominantly in the video domain including JW Player and Exponential. Prior to focusing on technology start-ups, Dmitri worked in the public sector with Fortune 500 companies including IBM Software. Dmitri is a CPA and earned his MBA from Columbia Business School.

In his role, Bill oversees all legal matters at OpenSlate and supports the company’s commercial operations through a growth-oriented global legal function. Bill advises on legal aspects of OpenSlate’s financings and transactions and supports the definition and development of corporate policies, procedures and programs. He is also responsible for ensuring the company’s ongoing compliance with data privacy laws and regulations. Prior to joining OpenSlate, Bill served in senior operational roles at several media companies including Huffington Post and Yahoo, where is helped to found and lead Yahoo’s e-commerce business.  He started his legal career at Kirkland & Ellis. He has a Juris Doctor from Georgetown and B.S. in Economics from Lehigh. He lives in Manhattan with his wife and two girls.

Andrew is the Chief Product Officer at OpenSlate, a leading contextual advertising platform, where he is responsible for product vision and strategy. His career has been shaped by 25+ years of devotion to media, where he has always sought to evolve the space through innovative approaches to content and commercialization; facilitated by technical solutions that add value to businesses and customers. Andrew started his journey by bootstrapping an independent publishing company out of his college dorm room, and in the process building the wide variety of skills necessary for a small business owner and media company operator. He sold his business to music publishing company SpinMedia and transitioned to leadership of advertising product and operations at VICE Media where he spearheaded brand safety strategy, cross platform video monetization, and building first-to-market contextual and audience products. Having had his fill on the publisher side, Andrew dove directly into advertising technology by joining Grapeshot as SVP of Product Strategy, where he led new applications of the technology across publishing, distribution, and video. Grapeshot was acquired by Oracle in 2018, where Andrew oversaw product marketing for Grapeshot, Moat, Datalogix and other products within the Oracle Data Cloud suite. Andrew’s areas of expertise include contextual and audience ad targeting, advertising and revenue operations, product marketing, programmatic technologies, road cycling, and long walks with his family.

Tony heads up strategic initiatives and major partnerships for OpenSlate. His background is in enterprise software, data/media and management consulting. He has 20 years of experience leading companies from seed round and venture-backed startups to global media conglomerates. He has been specialized in platforms, data, digital and traditional media for the past decade working for the leading companies to acquisitions in those areas – IBM/Lombardi Software, Oracle/AddThis, Magnetic/MyBuys and SingTel Amobee/Videology. Most recently, Tony was General Manager of Global Enterprise/Business Development at Videology (acquired by Singapore Telecom/Amobee). Over his 6 years there, he feels extremely fortunate to grow an amazing team that drove the strategy/activation for high growth/margin solutions with a myriad of customers and partners.  

Megan O’Keefe brings more than 10 years of digital media experience to OpenSlate where she leads the Client Engagement, Data Operations and Content Insights & Intelligence teams. As OpenSlate’s Head of Client Success, her mission is to deliver world class service and prove the value of OpenSlate data and insights to our clients through flawless execution. Prior to OpenSlate, Megan held a series of client services posts across notable media companies such as CBS, WebMD, and most recently AOL where she managed the programmatic client services team responsible for activating, servicing and supporting customers of AOL’s ad platform, ONE by AOL for Advertisers
